FFL TRANSFERS FROM ONLINE RETAILERS

Finding the perfect firearm from a local dealer in todays market is not always easy. Kinetic Firearms gladly accepts transfers from online and out of state retailers. Of course, we would prefer to sell you the firearm directly, but if you find the exact firearm you want online or from an out of state retailer, we are happy to receive the firearm for you and facilitate the required FBI background check.

We charge $25.00 PER TITLE 1 FIREARM for this service.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR BUYERS TO UNDERSTAND, DUE TO FEDERAL LAWS, THE PERSON THAT ORDERED THE FIREARM IS THE ONLY PERSON THAT IT CAN BE TRANSFERED TO. THAT PERSON NEEDS TO HAVE A VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID WITH A CURRENT ADDRESS ON IT. THE CUSTOMER MUST ALSO BE OF LEGAL AGE PER FEDERAL LAWS TO RECEIVE THE FIREARM THEY PURCHASED.

YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD TO PURCHASE LONG GUNS AND 21 YEARS OLD TO PURCHASE FIREARMS OTHER THAN LONG GUNS AS WELL AS RECEIVERS/FRAMES.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

Kinetic Firearms only accepts FFL transfers for Indiana residents. Your primary residence must be in Indiana and your government issued photo ID must reflect that.

 The upside to buying firearms online is there are some deals to be found. Kinetic Firearms is set up with a large number of online retailers to receive transfers from them. Each retailer has a different process to choose which local FFL receives the firearm in their checkout process. If you are purchasing from an online retailer that Kinetic Firearms isn’t listed as an option, most retailers have instructions how to request a local FFL that is not listed or they provide an email address for the local FFL to send a copy of their license to. Due to the diversity of the countless online retailer websites, we are unable to provide specific instructions for every online retailer.

If at all possible, please contact us prior to selecting Kinetic Firearms to receive your shipment. Once the firearm is received, we will contact you to set up an appointment for you to complete the paperwork required. We do our best to contact you quickly as possible, but it may take up to 24 hours after the shipment is received.

The downside is, the firearm is not an item being sold by Kinetic Firearms so there is a transfer fee. Kinetic Firearms charges $25.00 per Title 1 firearm for transfers. Also, if there is an issue with the item, the transfer fee is still required to be paid regardless if the firearm is transferred to the customer or if it has to be sent back to the online retailer.

Online retailers all have their own unique policies regarding returns. Kinetic Firearms has no control or influence over the online retailers policies. It is the customers responsibility to know the policies of the retailer they chose to purchase from. It is also the customers responsibility to contact the online retailer to attempt to arrange a return if they are willing to accept returns. 

In addition to the transfer fee, Kinetic Firearms charges a $25 handling fee plus actual shipping costs to return firearms that were received as transfers to the original retailer.

The customer is solely responsible to ensure all federal and state laws are followed when purchasing firearms online. Firearms will not be transferred to anyone against federal and state laws.
